About us
A small Phoenix outfit that only does refrigeration
Phoenix Sub-Zero Repair Pros works on built-in Sub-Zero equipment across Maryvale, Roosevelt Row, Coronado and Sunnyslope. No call centre, no subcontracted stranger turning up — the person who answers the phone knows which van is where.
Working on Sub-Zero refrigeration in Phoenix since 2012. Licensed, bonded and insured. We provide our licence number to customers on request.
Where we stand
Four things worth knowing before you book
-
One brand, one category
Built-in and integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration: columns, undercounter units, ice makers and wine storage. We do not take cooking appliances, and we do not take freestanding budget refrigerators. Narrow means the van carries the right parts and the diagnosis starts from experience rather than a manual.
-
Diagnosis before quoting, always
The $89 service call buys a full diagnosis on site — gauges, meter, thermometer, panels off. You get the fault named and the repair priced before anybody starts, and the service call comes off the bill if you go ahead.
-
We will talk you out of a bad repair
A leak in a foamed-in evaporator on a twenty-year-old cabinet is a different conversation from a fan motor. When the honest answer is that the money is better spent elsewhere, that is what you will hear while the panel is still off.
-
Built for this climate
Ambient load is the thing that separates Phoenix from the rest of the country. A unit that reads fine in the morning can lose ground every afternoon from June to September, so we test against the room it lives in rather than a spec sheet.
The equipment
What "built-in" actually changes
A freestanding refrigerator can be wheeled out and worked on from the back. A Sub-Zero column is trimmed into cabinetry that was cut around it, often with a panel-ready door heavier than the unit's hinge was adjusted for. Half of a good repair on this equipment is knowing how it comes out and how it goes back — which fixings are structural, where the water line has been routed, and what will scuff if you rush it.
The other half is the refrigeration. Dual-refrigeration cabinets are two sealed systems in one box, and a fault on one side means nothing about the other. Clear-ice makers are their own small water system. Wine storage is judged on stability rather than cold. All of it rewards measurement and punishes guessing.
The practical bits
How a call runs
- Ring or book. The line is answered 24/7; visits run 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days.
- Have the model number ready. Inside the fresh-food door, upper left frame.
- We diagnose on site. Panels off, readings taken, fault named.
- You get a price. Parts and labour, before anything is fitted.
- We prove the fix. The unit is watched through a cycle before we leave.
Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
The repair is a range for the fault and then a firm number for your unit, both before anything is fitted. The six ranges are printed on the repair pages.
